In addition to certain symptoms I know are associated with this disorder (sweating, muscle cramps, pain, etc...) tests have revealed a number of other abnormalities that none of my doctors has attributed to CRPS to date, but based on comments on this site I am beginning to wonder. Anyway here they are:

- Triglycerides (initially ~3,000/ with max meds ~500, cholesterol OK, but NO good cholesterol)
- fatty liver
- Hypertension (160/120 untreated)
- Basically zero Serotonin despite already being on max Cymbalta for over a year
- testosterone 10% of normal for 40 y.o. male

I am not trying to alarm you, but my husband had some of the same symptoms and it turns out he had testicular cancer. I would encourage you to get a thorough exam to check for a lump (or you can do it in a warm shower). It is a very curable cancer if caught early. He is now 7 years cancer free!!!

Low testosterone is dangerous in a man. it increases their risk of heart attack and stroke (in addition to lower sex drive). Try a healthy diet to lose any weight you have around the middle and the blood pressure and cholesterol issue may resolve itself.

Please PM me if you have any more questions. Best wishes to you!!

My testosterone is very low. I've had the gels and patches, and they work well. Now, I hafto go and get blood work done. (I'm not currently driving, so it's an issue), I just hafto do it!

I didn't know that low T. in men caused these side effects!
Lose weight in the belly? Hmmm. Good idea. I've gained some in recent years.
I'm happy that you gave this advice!
I'm going to take some action on it!
(My neuro, who IS my only doctor), doesn't want to gimme any more testosterone, fearing that my cholesterol is too high. So I'll probably need a statin (I think that's what they're called for cholesterol) before I can get some Testosterone.

Jeez, it gets so involved.

However, Many Thanks, Mom!
Hope you feel as WACB!
