Yikes! That sounds bad. I had a right shoulder injury and RSD in my right shoulder. I had spread after the shoulder surgery and now full body CRPS, 20 years in July.
Welcome to NT, Kevin. You will find a great group of supportive people here. Also, lots of information from personal experience. All the best to you. Look forward to seeing you around.

Kevin,
Sorry to hear of your maladies, I hope that you find some peace.
Feel free to pm me, I know that it's different for men.
I'm one.
I've got rsd for a long time too.
Hope you feel as well as you can!

Welcome Kevin! Sorry it's because of rsd. I'm at 6 yrs as well. Broke my left knee at work in Feb 03 and 2 weeks later the fun began! LOL Went to all 4 limbs, hips and tops of shoulders in 11 months and am now full body everywhere, except internal. :-) There's always a bright side! Look forward to seeing ya around

Hugs,

Karen

Default Guys

Welcome Kevin,

You will probably notice that there are far more women on this site than men. Too bad it's not a social place, or we might be in heaven.

Seriously, I believe that statistics show RSD attacks women more frequently. This may lead some doctors to disbelieve the diagnosis. It's good you have a doctor with enough foresight to get past that preconception.

Anyway, I am glad to 'meet' you. Remember, this site can be used for information, questions, opinions, and venting. If you are having a bad day, week, whatever, feel free to come on and "let it blow."

Default Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the group. Do you have a lasso and a gun on your side. That's what I am visioning right now. You sound like a cowboy from OK. LOL

Sorry to hear that you have been through so much and yes there is more women on here then men. That way we can keep the men in line. Seriously though, the men are great on here and they are very helpful.

Glad you found us and I'm sorry it's for such a painful reason.

Hi Kevin from Mary who used to live in Edmond. Lover of Lazy E and the Quarter Horse Show at the fair grounds. Of course, the Fair. Sorry you are here because of rsd, but you will find a lot of understanding here. Here you can be yourself and express yourself and you will not be judge. We often have pity parties and we all have had times where the only ones who understand us are our friends here.

Hugs
Mary
