Default Hi and Thanks,

Jo*Mar, I do have GERD. Have had it for years. I am on Prevacid and have been for years also. It's the only one that works for me. I have also just been diagnosed with Motility Related Dyspepsia and Metabolic Syndrome. I am getting ready to have some test done for Diabetes, Thyroid and glucose intolerance and some other things. I also wondered if it related to the TOS.

As far as the swallowing that has been going on for a very long time. Like Carrie, I have to think about swallowing at times. It's embarrassing in public. I am always chokeing on something.

MrsD., I have had this way before the Reglan. So far neither it nor the Metformin is causing me any problems but they are helping with my stomach problems.

Daniella, I do have dry mouth and I know that is coming from either the Reglan or the Metformin. The dry mouth just started when I started I believe the Reglan.

Pete, I just switched to decaf about 2 months ago and I can tell the difference in my stress and anxiety. I'm am glad I finally did it. When Bill was living, I use to try and sneak it in and he caught me every time. He couldn't give it up even though he was in such a bad way. He was too smart on a lot of things for me. If someone slipped me decaf, I wouldn't have known it.

Thanks to all for the help.

Ada

I have to cut my pills into bits now to take them because if I don't I'll choke. Eating has to be done in small bites. So far it works well. It began in the past year and for me, it's just one of those things. I do not have any problems at all like GERD and have never had any reflux problems either. There is no reason for it so I figure it's just another aspect of rsd for me as it advances each year.

I'm sorry it's as bad as it is for you though.

Hugs,

Karen
