Heart Dew is BACK in Oklahoma...

Hello friends,

Hubby and I have been home for about an hour. We had to love on the babies,3 cat-sons, and our dog-daughter! It feels so good to be home. It must have really rained a lot..cause our grass REALLY needs to be cut. Also, so humid and sticky.

Our son will be coming over after work, as he and hubby are heading to the gun club for a night-shoot. Hubby will drive 60 miles one way for this father-son adventure.

Actually, we stopped by the gun club outdoor shoot arena, and it is muddy and has pooled water. Hubby said that the night shoot should be interesting!

I told hubby he and son should stay the night in a hotel, as not to have to drive home at 2:00AM. My man has driven enough the last 2 days, for sure.

I am happy to be home;however, I miss my sis and her family like crazy. We had a wonderful time, considering the circumstances that made the trip mandatory. I will be flying back to AZ once the pancreas resection surgery is booked.

Thank you for the warm wishes and prayers. My sis and I , and both of our families, appreciate your loving kindness

Dew

Hey Dew,

I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your sis and her family. I'm sure it feels great to be home.

Father son time is important I hope they have a good time.

Take care of yourself and take it easy for the next couple days.

Dew, I'm glad you made it home safely. Your sister will be fine! There's Dew to worry about too. Don't forget to look after yourself. Hang on to the fact that you'll be there again when your sister needs you the most! Such a precious gift to give, especially with your RSD. And you are right about not wanting hubby to drive at 2 AM, sensible decision!

Welcome back home!

Glad you are back. Sorry to hear about your sister, I haven't been on here to much to catch up on the posts.
Take some time for you. I wish your sister the best with her up coming surgery.
