Given what these meds were designed for, OK, great, used and managed properly.
Rita, I'm happy your son is having a positive outcome with it! However, You're right! They're NOT sleep medications! That's an off label use, that the drug companies themselves have "invented", and "educated" doctors on. My doctor tried it on me once, I still have the sample pack. I took half of a 25mg. I knew it was FAR too HD for me. There are so many better ways, to deal with "Sleep issues", with RSD. These drugs should not be used "off label" no matter how careful you are. Pete Asb |
