Being unable to control body temperature is also an rsd thing. Because it whacks out every system in our body it changes everything. My hair has fallen out since the pain of rsd first started for me. 6 yrs in and it's worse than ever. Doesn't bother me much and about to shave my head. lol Rash and itching can be rsd things too. I always say that if you had certain things happening before you began the med then it's not the med totally at fault. Sometimes it makes a lot of things worse. If things began only after you started taking the med, then yeah, meds fault for sure.

It sucks that there are lots of meds which mess with blood pressure. So far I've been lucky with the ones I've tried. It didn't mess me up. I've had low blood pressure my entire life and even when I'm in a lot of pain, my BP isn't high enough to suit medical personnel. I get "the look". You know the one that says, "you're so faking or exaggerating your pain because look the numbers are well within the normal range." *screams* Even when I say WOW that's high. I get another "look" and then ignored. *sigh*

As for cymbalta. UGH! I took one a day for 1 week. That's it. Every single day within an hour I got sharp, stabbing, shooting pains in my stomach. OMG! It hurt so much. I was on WC at the time and still was given nothing for pain. I certainly didn't need to ADD more pain! LOL When I went back to the doc he gave me "a look" and all but called me a liar! Oh well, it's what happened whether he liked it or not.

Hugs,

Karen
