Default My plane ride

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would let you know how my trip went. I had no problems what so ever at security. So didn't even have to use my note from the doctor. But was nice to know I did have the note in case I was pulled to the side.

I have to say the plane ride was a bit more painful then I thought it would be. I am not sure if it was the air pressure or having to sit in those seats for so long (I find I can't sit in one position longer then 15 mins) . But on take off I had some pretty bad stabbing pains and thought "how am I going to get through this?" but it did ease and turning into a dull burning ache. My fingers and arm also turned to a nice shade of purple once in the air....but returned to normal after we landed.

After though it took me 2 days to recover from the plane. So the first half of my vacation was a real struggle. That goodness for pain meds and understanding friends/family we were visiting.

Same experience on the way home as well. Also the 2 day recovery time....though I am going on day 4 now and finally felt like I could sit at the computer and type. Going to physio therapy this morning and hoping it will loosen me up a bit and get the pain levels down to a more tolerable level.

Thanks again everyone for your advice/tips!

Take care,
Karen
