I read over the weekend that repeat surgeries on his nose and face made it feel as if he was wearing a concrete mask. It was reported that one of the reasons he hid from the sun was that the heat of it on his facial and neck areas was excrutiatingly painful for him.

May he RIP and the media visit another story soon. I am sorry that he died, but there were far more news worthy deaths (IMHO) such as Ed McMahon (a TRUE American hero!) that deserve to be sharing the spotlight.

They are saying on CNN this morning that the autopsy may never be released, if the family forbids it. So we may never know.

But all that hydroquinone he slathered on his skin was also a bad idea. This was the lightening chemical he used, which is quite toxic. Add to that his very poor nutrition(suspected anorexia), and no wonder his skin could not heal properly.

He was so handsome and healthy looking in the Thriller video days. It is a total shame he spiraled down like he did.
I lost interest in him after Thriller, with all the obscene gestures he did in his concerts and the scandals with the young boys, and the less interesting music. With his money and connections he could have saved his creativity and gotten the proper help, instead of the choices he did make.
