I hope one of them works.

All this for only $249.95
But,
you can get it used.
(I've bought used book from Amazon, and they're usually just fine).

Chronic Pain: Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Prevention, and Management (Hardcover)

Written by Dr. Hooshmund,
gets mostly 5 star rating, by the five or so people who could afford it.

Anyway, I Definately intend to ask my own doctor (Knobler), whom I consider to be a "Top Doc" in RSD his opinion of this book.
He was starting his own book, then had a heart attack...

Wanna make God laugh?
Make plans.

Hi everyone,
Dr. Hooshmand from Florida, still has his website up. It's www.rsdrx.com I have learned so much there, especially a section called puzzles. It's about 140 questions from rsd patients and his answers. There is another Dr. that worked with him that has taken over his practice. His name and information is on this website. Everyone hopefully will have a peaceful less pain weekend. Your friend, loretta

Default Hi,

I have Dr. Hooshmand's book. I bought one for my Dr. and me about 6 years ago. I got his for Christmas for him. I consider him a friend so I knew he'd be ok with it. He read it and used it to get me to where I am today. I am pretty much in remission. This is my PCP. I don't have a PM Dr., the ones I saw were jokes.

I paid I believe 85. for each of our books so you may be able to get them cheaper on his website. It's black with pink writing on it. It says Cronic Pain, RSD Prevention and Management.

I realize a lot of people don't like him but I feel that his book helped my Dr. to get me to where I am today.
