Confused Pin Prick Sensations ???

Hi everyone! I have not been around for a while and have missed visiting with all of you.
I am having a terrible time with pin prick sensations that move around my body. They are about to drive me mad. They are always worse at night, but I have them durring the day too. Its like bugs biting me everywhere. I am wondering how many of you experience this, what works for you and what have you been told causes this? Is it the fibro or RSD or ?????
Thanks for any input!
Di

Diana,
I'm SO sorry that you're getting these weird sensations...
I know how to fix it.

Can we boil it down?
Has it to do with your diet? Or, your stress?

Has it to do with your energy expended? ( A simple test, or maybe not so simple, can you just take a "day off" and lay around in your pajamas?) You know, just be totally lazy?
First, you deserve this, and So many of us, don't allow ourselves to do it! But, WE ALL deserve it!

Could you just wake up tomorrow, (close your eyes now and read this) all showered already, and have a real cutie pie guy, serve you a nice lite breakfast, give you the remote fore the TV, and give you a light oily rubdown? Super Gently...

Then, you doze off again for a little while? Why not?

How would that feel?
The temperature would be perfect... As would be the scent, from the fresh flowers..

and then, after you're well rested,
a Fresh dinner, or late lite lunch, your favorite!
with a couple of your bestest of friends!
And, NO Clean up!
Just a good show on the TV, then bam! Everyone is gone, after some Great laughs!
It's yours to relax again!

Another light massage, and your favorite movie on...
And, off you go... whatever you want, and to sleep...

Does that feel better?

Would a "Total Escape" ease some of the pain?

I am a believer, in the "Total Escape".
I guess you noticed.

I've no one to share it with, but, was pretty ok at it.

Anyway,
There's some "Stressors" in your life, that won't let you go!
You know it.

Force them away. Release them.
Then, just be "alone and relaxed"!

I'd bet, that'd make a world of difference!

Or, I'll come out thar, and rub you down with coconut butter, Olive Oil, and toss you in a pan and, Bronze you up!...

(This is the response you get for not being 'round for a while!) Hah!

HEY! This goes for Anyone here well, except the guys. You need to find someone else for that, even though it's not sexul, I ain't oilin' no hairy legs!

Pete
ASB?
huh?

Default Hi Pete,

Good offer for Diana. Sounds good enough for all of us. LOL

Diana, I have the pin pricks, mostly in the wintertime through my legs and feet. All winter long. I am thinking it's the Fibro.

Stress is an issue also. It does make symptoms worse. I know that from the couple of months I have had.

You do need to relax, let go of your thoughts and just relax more. Of course I said that to you on the phone yesterday. Me repeating myself.

Take a day off like Pete says and pamper yourself if no one else will.

Ada

I get this on and off too. I get two forms one is like if you were rubbing your feet on carpet super fast and another is like what you state like bites . I notice the bites when I lay still in bed. I always though feel like things are moving in between my skin and body. That probably makes no sense. Anyhow a few thoughts are you on any new meds? Do yo uhave tightness? I ask cause I think for me some of the sensation is from being so tight as well like a circulation issue. I don't have fibro but have PN and have heard them talk about the pins feeling. The only aids I can think of is baths or epsom salt ones, supplements and meds that help calm down the nerves. Are you on any? I wish I had more answers and help for you cause I was not and I am sorry but can relate

Default Thanks

Lord Pete...That is the best offer I have had lately!
You, who know me, know that my life situation is really stressful right now. I don't think I know how to take a day off and do nothing.
I have had this for years off and on. I have searched the internet and have seen posts of many others who have this and there just doesn't seem to be an answer that I can find to rid myself of these annoying bug bite type feelings.
Daniella, I have not added any new meds to the mix. I have tried to search "vitamins or suppliments and pinpricks" on the internet, but found nothing. I do meditate everyday, practice yoga and eat a very good diet....except for the fresh baked sourdough bread......
They are much worse at night but I do feel them durring the day as well. I will try my anti anxiety meds tonite at your suggestion and see if that helps. I'll let you know.
Thank you all! Di

I wonder if it is a form of delayed pain as I someties get hit hard at night from the day. I am not sure if anxiety meds will help. Unless like for me some of my meds for anxiety are muscle relaxers and if it is a form of tention maybe I have no idea. Random ? do you take your anxiety meds as needed? Just wondering cause I take mine consistent but I guess I have heard of people taking them when they panic. It sounds like you have a healthy routine going. Hopefully it will just ease up on its own. I always prey for that with new symptoms. Many thoughts
