Do you have a major university hospital or teaching hospital near? If so I would call the anestesolgist/pain management area and ask if they have a person who deals with rsd. I have seen people out of state to Ca and to Cleveland Clinic for my pain docs and was disappointed. I am not saying not to but my best pain doc who really works with me was not one who wrote many articles or was on shows but did have experience with rsd and when I called the hospital and stated my needs they suggested him. I had sent my records which I think people can do to see if mayo feels they can help you before flying out. I have seen so many doctors and many opinions and I know how frustrating it is but don't give up. Your doctor of hope and relief is out there

Smile RSD doctor in Arkansas

There is one doctor in the Little Rock area who diagnosed and is treating me for RSD. He is my primary care physician, Dr. Edwn Barron. I haven't checked about specialists because his care has been satisfactory. We do have an allegedly world-class teaching hospital here, the University of Arkansas Medical Center.
