Default Doing Well

Well my surgery went well. I was out of the hospital in 5 days, vs the 7 they said i'd be there. i was up and walking on the 2nd day. got my staples taken out the morning i left, but after the hour drive home my stomach had busted open and we had to call an ambulence to take me to the ER to get restapled. I go on thursday for my post op appt and to get this set of staples removed. thank god cause i'm dying to take a normal shower and scrub the rest of the tape residue and whatever else is still staining my body.

they ended up not doing a k infusion, the anethesiologist was adimit there wasn't any data on the dose i told him helping in remission... i argued for about 15 min till i was over it. it didn't spread tho, thank god!!!

Hi Andrea,
Thank you so much for letting us know your surgery outcome. It's good news you had no spread, really good news. That must of been so scary having your stomach open up like that. I'm sure that shower is going to be wonderful.
I also want to say I always enjoy your posts. I also have full body and internal. I'm 61 and have one daughter 29. She is married to a wonderful person. We are all close. We have had a few wonderful vacations together.
I don't think I have told you, but my Dr. just finished a trial study of 200 patients with low dose seroquel. It was for fibromyalgia. The study outcome will be published soon. I have fibromyalgia and I was not sleeping for weeks and weeks. Ambien Cr quit working and wasn't going to sleep till 5-6 a.m. He switched me to low dose seroquel 300 mg. and i started sleeping 9 hours of restorative sleep. He cut my anti-anxiety med in half and left it up to me on the pain med, vicodin. Instead of 6 a day, I'm taking 2. I have even lowered the anti-anxiety med, lorazepam to 2mg, instead of 6mg. I'm driving again and going to grocery store. Slowly building up endurance and staminia. I've been in bed for so long, but that is changing! My Dr. just built two new clinics with HBOT in each of them. I'm saving up to go thru HBOT in a few months. I'm mobile, with the exception of one hand partially paralyzed.
I like your picture. Take care, loretta

Hi Andrea,

I am pleased that the surgery went well. Also, sorry that some of your staples needed to be replaced. Take care of yourself; specifically, rest, sleep, and heal.

Hi Dear,
We haven't spoken in a while and I am thankful to see you post that you are doing well. Even though you had a set back you are a strong lady and it seems you pulled it off really well! You know I wish you all the best!
Let me know when you are coming this way. (Cause you know who is still NOT married off) LOL.
Update when you can.
Many Blessings to you! Di

Hi Andrea,
Glad the surgery is behind you! Proud that you were able to advocate for yourself in requesting a K infusion even though the doc declined!!
That must have been a harrowing ordeal with the staples...

Hoping you can take a nice, warm refreshing shower soon!! and maybe even listen to some tunes with a waterproof shower radio!
Hope you can rest and enjoy the Santa Cruz sun!!
My son and daughter live in Santa Cruz! The ocean air there is very healing!
Rest and relax!
