Default I made it through Christmas.

I spent 2 nights with Susan and the family. Travis did the cooking because Susan and I couldn't seem to get it done. I did make the green bean casserole and the sweet potatoes but if it had been up to me nothing would have gotten done.

Bill's daughter called me last night and we talked for 2 hours. She's having a hard time since she lost her Mom and Dad this year. We're all trying to keep each other going.

The boys are doing ok. They want to do a collage of their Grandpa to hang up. I told them we would after the holidays.

It seems like it's getting harder for me then easier. I believe the shock is wearing off and I'm realizing Bill is not going to walk through the back door like he always does and leaves it open. LOL He was good at that one.

I hope all of you had a good Christmas and that none of you got caught in the storms that kept people in airports for 2 days. That would have been hard on ill people.

Liz, thanks for the Christmas card. Thank you for thinking of me.

Have a good holiday week and I hope all of you have a Happy New Year.
Ada

Hi Ada,

I knew it would be hard for you at Christmas and was going to call you but I didn't know if you had a house full of people or if you would go to Susan's.

I got your message yesterday and I will call you probably sometime today. Did you get the gift I sent? I only got one card back but now I am going to make it a New Years Card instead of a Christmas card..LOL

I am so glad you are hanging in there, and I will talk to you soon.

Love ya,
Janet
