My ANS SCS was installed in 2005 to replace a defective Medtronic SCS at a cost of $27K. The expense of maintenance is reprogramming or battery consults as required at a cost of $380 per office visit, with those averaging two per year. The pain relief provided is well justified by the pain relief provided.
