I had the "burning " under controll for several months and this treatment brought it back. I am supposed to go again tomorrow, But i really do not want anymore of these treatments. Has anyone out there tried these treatments?? I have looked thru old threads and cant find anything. I was going to PT agian because I am loosing flexibility in foot and have developed bad heel pain recently. Please let me hear from you all! Thanks

I have been following and reading there are some links were people used the light therapy and seemed to help a little. I would concentrate on how you do with WARM vs COLD. From your response to therapy I would guess that you are one who has a HOT version of the disease your pain is associated with being Hot all the time. and the (BURNING) pains that you get is like being burned by somthing HOT. Seems people with a HOT version respond bad to anything warm or HOT. Let me know if I'M on target with this.

Thanks

I have the heat kind, and have found that cold is what sets me off, not heat. Using a hot shower spray seems to help, although at the time the water makes it hurt from the pressure, later it feels pretty good. Beware using cold, I have read and had personal experience that using cold or ice can really really be a horrid idea. I had an ice pack used twice on my knee before being dx'd and the pain then and later was unreal, and seems to have made it worse permanently. Be careful with the cold.
