Default Hi All

Well I thought I would come out of the woodwork and say hello to everyone. I hope you all had a pleasant Xmas and New Year's. I apoligize for being so elusive, however, I have been overloaded with pain these last couple of months that I have not been able to get out of bed much. Usually just long enough to bathe, eat a little and back to bed. Did you know there are 1,911 small dots on my bedroom ceiling? Yuppers, there sure is. Now that's what I call being productive!! Well the time has come and I have made up my mind. I'm Moving!. I am going back to Maine to be closer to my family.

Cape Cod is no longer the wonderful, mystical haven it once was. It is now run down and full of illegals. Crime is out of control and I've had it. I am in a wheelchair now and my patiences are gone. I'm leaving Taxachusetts for good. I want to thank all of you for your friendship. It means so much to me. You guys are the best. If I do not come on to much these days it is simply because I am not up to par. But I will when I can. I will close for now, but like I always say - Chin Up!!!!!

Mark

It's good to hear from you.
I hope the move is a big plus for you, being closer to family should be a good thing too.

Hope the pain will let up on you soon.

Hey Mark,
Glad to see ya on the board. Hope all is going well for you. I spend alot of my free time resting and trying to keep the pain levels down. You need a new hobby, been counting the ceiling dots too long. I used to try to find patterns on the ceiling. I think alot of us have done that one. Isn't it amazing how our mind remains so active even when the body isn't working well. It has been raining so hard in Oregon that we might just float away. Lots of nasty weather this winter. Take care and please find a new hobby. By the way, are you sure you didn't miss one dot? You might have to do a recount to be accurate.

Hi there, Mark

Thanks for stopping by, I know it's so hard for you; was it Curious' cookies ? They're sooo good... I just wanted to let you know I think of you often and wonder how you're coping, the wheelchair will hopefully make things a little easier, love ya lots...

Yeah, that ceiling thing - I always wondered why hospitals don't make the ceiling a big priority feature, they could be really creative there since it's the one feature of any building you really see from a horizontal position. Dentist's surgeries too...aren't you just sooo tired of those ugly square tiles ... and the lights don't help...

Sounds like the move to Maine is a really good idea, you'll be near family and you can get a place that suits, no stairs, that kind of thing...all round sounds like a very, very good plan. Take very good care, we miss you
all the best xxx

Smile Hey bro!!

It is good to hear from ya!

I want you to know you are sorely missed. When I was down I looked forward to seeing your posts bro. That is amazing about how many dots are on your ceiling, mine looks like cottage cheese, but I would lay there till I was seeing spots!

It is good for the soul to be near people you love, so I hope that move will be easy and painless for ya! Do try to drop in every once in a while, cause your part of the family bro.

Man Stephen, you guys are getting slammed! Every so often those storms sneak down this way and cause me a little grief too.

Take care bro, and dont go cross eyed on us :icon_wink:
