Default RSI what next?

i posted this in the chronic pain category originally and was guided here.

I'm 25 and I've had RSI for a little over 20 months now. It affects my left hand/forearm/elbow and i'd say it's been full blown for the past year. I've given up a lot of activities because of it including video games/guitar /college i even had to give up a stocking position because of it. I have trouble typing without pain and finger spasms so i use mainly my right hand lately. It even hurts to hold the steering wheel for long periods sometimes. It started around summer when i was exercising a lot as well as studying programming and long band practices so i figured the combination was the cause of it. I've seen several specialists and none could give me a diagnosis so i'm really only assuming RSI from reading multiple websites. My symptoms seem endless and they change up sometimes. I've had several MRI's an EMG a few nerve conduction studies some blood tests a few Xray's and not one single thing could be found. Don't get me wrong that's great that they couldn't find anything seriously wrong but it's troubling not knowing what steps to take to correct whatever it is. I know it could be so much worse so i try not to let it get me down even though it does anyway. I have seen some progress over the last few months but nothing extremely drastic and i have days where i think i'm going backwards in progress(today being one of them). I've done a few months of physical therapy and i did see a good increase in strength . I do worry that this will last the rest of my life sometimes but then again i've read several stories where ppl had it for years and still recovered very successfully. I'm trying to find someone that might have a situation similar to mine. Maybe someone that might have insight on what i should try next. I'm going to a massage therapist next week who specializes in trigger point therapy as well. Maybe that will help some.

p.s. the pain fluctuation has been ridiculous lately one day it will hurt terribly the next it won't hurt at all depending on what i'm doing.
