I have been in a bit of a rough patch lately with business sooooo slooooow and son having illness flare up....plus these tropical storm systems really stress me out

BUT
I am just so thankful that God always finds a way to remind me of the many blessings and reasons to be happy.....

especially when I read here

today I was given a second chance. a number of years ago we had a bad flood out back and in the garage, where all my photos of my kids as they grew up were, yes I balled years ago over the lost, well Debbie for some odd reason had taken the box in from the garage one day and buried in the back of a cabinet and forgot about it, till today when she set this box on my lap, like a little kid she was, open it come on open it, needless to say I again balled my eyes out, I thought I had lost them all, thank you Debbie

we lost loads of photos during flooding from the 2004 storms that hit central florida and I was thankfully able to save some of my kids and still get a thrill when I find one in an unexpected forgotten place

I am sooooooo happy for you and you precious angel

thank you Chemar, I still lost some of the old ones but am lucky beyond belief, she is bugging me to scan every pic we have hers and mine and get them on cd"S yes plural just in case, sorry about your loss, floods stink, nothing like taking a shovel to all your belongings and just shoveling it into a dumpster, i scanned a number of them and added my artsie type of pics to my albums here,

I ran into a fire, because she stood at the door
entering with fear i discovered there were 3 more
each trip in could be my kids last, this had to be done
A leap of faith saved that family, and i still had my sons

now our autistic son who has grown into his own
he wants more and from the nest he has flown
these fears so hard each time I have to face them
Another leap of faith shall prevail, to this I say amen

I am happy right now because through all of the negatives I am working through right now.... I can still see the good in everything around me.

I am happy b/c for the first time since last Friday, I can actually walk w/o stabbing back pain. No, I'm not looking for sympathy, just so glad the pain is subsiding.

I'm also happy b/c we have this thread to make us ''think'' about the things in our life that we take for granted; you know, those "things" that make us happy.
