I'm glad she's on the road to recovery, Beth, even though it's going to be a long one.

My Dad didn't like being in rehab one bit after his surgery and made it known loud & clear every chance he got! But, he saw how much it was helping him so we all toughed it out. It's so hard when they won't cooperate. He didn't like being alone, either, so we all had to put in hours there with him to keep him company - and out of trouble! I was working at the time so it was a delicate balancing act to say the least.

I hope things are back to normal (or as close as) for you soon. I'm saying a prayer for your MIL and for you and your family, too!

Default Dear Beth,

I am so sorry for your mil. I don't know why life gets so hard as we get older. It's so hard for you to see your loved one go though this. I pray for her recovery and that she will see the benefits of the rehab very soon and will know it is for the best. I too hope you have someone to go with you when it's your turn to visit. I pray, also, for your strength and comfort.
