You and your DS will be in my prayers every day. I know this must be so terribly hard on you.
Thanks Kitty! He has a physical scheduled with the army on November 16 where he will bring all his medical records. We are praying after seeing the doctor notes they will reclassify him.

It's just so hard! He has been out of the military for 4 years but unfortunately they still own you

he has served honorably and he was wounded, albeit in the mind ...but that is still wounded. Surely after all this time they must know that sending someone with PTSS back into active duty is a bad idea...and would rather use him more efficiently stateside or at a non war zone base abroad if they are going to recall him.

I am praying for you and for him plus his wife and children
Thank you so much Chemar! As I told Kitty he has a military physical on the 16th of November. He will present copies of the doctor reports. We can only pray now!

Was he seeing a civilian doctor or the military/veteran's hospital? You can also ask him to contact the local PVA chapter and see if they can help. PTSS is very serious and veteran hospitals are taking it serious.

Either way, my prayers are with you all.
Thanks Sandy. He was under the VA psychiatrist. And I have to tell you he had to fight just to see one. The army has played him ever since he was discharged.

As a mom, I just would like to go Bop someone who is in charge in the HEAD!

You tell him if he's under VA care that he needs to see someone at the PVA who can act as an advocate for him if he has any further trouble. That's what I did when Jim was having trouble getting the care he needed. They are a God send in times of getting through red tape. Jim still has PTSS from that hospital stay but everything was changed at the hospital because of what happened to Jim thanks to the PVA getting involved.

PS: I did threaten to bop some little on call doctor once. Teehee!
