Caramel Chanel Lefthanded gave such good advise,I cannot add to it. As I've said I'm not a doctor, but I've experienced acute anxiety, panic attacks, and dread. The panic can make you feal like you are having a heart attack. I don't want to trigger this fealing in you. You may need medication.

Some of these emotional feelings are produced by a biochemical imbalance in the brain,so don't be to hard on yourself. BF

Hi-CC, I know this situation is "sucky" for you all around. I hope that the little bit of letting go of the desperation of feeling helpless is actually helping reduce the negative impact on your body. Even if only reduced a few degrees at a time, the body does much healing when we give ourselves a break from the stories we tell ourselves. I think you are managing as well as you can with the few resources you have. I hope the folks here help you feel less alone. I know they have helped me. And it helps me to reach out to you and say that "you matter, you will get through this and it will change".... Wishing you the Best possible outcome TT

Default These things take time.

I was wondering if a verse in the Bible might help you. Isaiah 41:10 has been a help to me. I have dozens more that help lift me up.

Please keep breathing in,and out. Do you have any music of the Ocean, and sounds of the tide? These things can help with your mood. Be still, listen, and picture in your mind these calm peaceful settings.

See if your doctor can see you sooner. Make a list of questions on paper in which you can ask him. BF

Hi CC, I see you are practicing being able to tolerate the discomfort just a little bit more. Good job! I know one exercise which has helped me when I was overwhelmed with multiple issues. I took some crayons and a big piece of paper and let my mind go as blank as possible and let my left hand make colors and shapes to represent my internal states. Somehow the non-dominant hand lets us get in touch with the "voice" of the fear or whatever it is. Strong emotions are usually there to protect us from something that we might be unaware of. This play- exercise brings it out to be seen with more understanding and compassion. In the time of waiting we can learn much about our inner life and sometimes even heal physical symptoms just by giving them their own voice. You can put words to this process if that works, just colors and shapes is fine too. I think you will find it interesting and soothing in an odd way. Many therapists use this method. So it is not as silly as it sounds. And even if it feels silly it is also real to the part that wants to be understood and seen. Have fun and I hope this might help in some way. Thinking of you, knowing waiting is a challenge. Hang in there. Best wishes TT
