My daughter-in-law found him in time & we called 911. He's doing ok right now---no liver damage!! Dr's thought they'd need to fly him to Pittsburg last night; but bloodwork came back where things might still be "iffy" but after pumping his stomach & IV's; he's gonna be ok. He took a large bottle of tylenol pm. Dr said twice the lethal dose of acetaminophen. He's been taking *alot* of mucinex dm about 40 pills a day just to get a buzz. & he has ulceritive colitis & been depressed alot. I just needed to talk to someone & let out some stress. I thank God for his guidance & not taking my son yet. I thank you just for listening. I found a ride up to the hospital to see him; he's in the ICU; so I'll keep ya posted.

what a relief that he did not succeed and that no serious damage appears to have happened
I pray he will not only make a full recovery from this, but will also find the hope and encouragement to want to live you may want to also post on our Survivors of Suicide forum as there are members there who understand what you are going through http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum29.html praying God's peace for you in the midst of this storm

I am so sorry to hear this.. but thank God he is alive! Will be praying for him and you and everyone involved.. keep us updated!

I don't want to--- I don't wanna type the words ---- I DON'T wanna see the words!!! But; here goes--- Troy died on Oct. 19. This time NOT by trying to take his own life. I can't say much cos it's all under investigation. But we called for help (911) & instead of the ambulance; we got 2 state troopers. Things went HORRIBLY wrong. I hope we can "right the wrong" with the truth & JUSTICE for my son. I miss him soooo much. He was 36 & quiet & laid back kind of a guy; he wouldn't hurt anything or anyone. There were 3 witnesses & at the time we believed that since they were trained officers; they knew what they were doing--- how wrong we were! I have 2 other sons; 1 older & 1 younger & a 10 year old grandson whom are taking it really hard too. Please say a prayer for Troy (for justice for him) ---- Please. Thank you all.
