Default Please pray for my Mom and Hubby

Hey everyone....my Mom had a blood clot in in leg that broke loose and went to both lungs..while doing CT scan of her lungs they also founds lung cancer in both lungs..this started Thursday..after many tests ( we all know about many tests right?) the oncologist found the primary source of the cancer in in her uterus and mestatisized (sp) to her lungs. My hubby just had open heart surgery 3 weeks ago and I am in a flair!! So please pray for them both. Its only myself and one sister to take care of Mom so I need to get well soon..I am sooooooo tired..

I am so sorry K.Butterfly.

You must be shocked and so terribly worried right now, and it's no surprise you're in a flair with everything that's been going on.

I read you only have the one sister, but are there any community support systems you can call on? I don't necessarily mean a housekeeper or other support services for your mother (although you might want to think about it later), but what about for yourself? Would getting some-one in to help you, give you a breather and allow you more time to spend with your mother? Are you involved in your local church? They can be a life saver at times like this, and usually all you have to do is ask.

Do you have children, and if so... will they help you to take time out? If you can rest just a little, hopefully your flair might be over soon. Have you spoken to your doc? Do you need treatment to help get this exacerbation over sooner, seeing how so much else is going on right now.

I'm sending up prayers for all of you, but is there any other way we can help?

lifting prayers for your mom, your hubby and you.

I too hope that people will step in to help you and your sister so that you can have time to care for yourself too.
If you have a church fellowship, do let them know what you are going through. They may do meals and also provide additional practical help, while also giving you the prayer and emotional support you need.

Kajun Butterfly

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. And I hope your DH is recovering well from his surgery. It's no wonder you're in a flair.....with everything happening at once. When it rains it pours......

I hope friends and family will step in and help with some of the day to day challenges you'll have. Please take care of yourself, too, throughout all this.

I'm praying for you and your family.

Thank you for prayers from you my friends! Several ppl from our church have called and visited offering their help..I guess I've just been the kind of person that bears the full load...but this is too much for me to do alone this time so, I will accept all the help offered. No Koalla, I have no kids..times like this I wish I did. Will keep everyone posted on progress..thanks again for your support and prayers. God bless you all.

Praying for you and your family. Sure wish there was more that I could do for you, though prayer truly is the greatest thing anyone could do--God is in control, so asking him to comfort you and provide what you need is the best way to help!
