I wanted to let you know that Lucas has now been discharged from the Intensive Care Nursery. He's had his stomach tube removed..... he's out of the humidicrib, has begun feeding normally. He's doing well.

Now that the pediatrician is happy with him, I look forward to him coming home in a few days time so that I can begin my Grandma duties..... like loving and cuddling.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. They were very much appreciated.

Although Lucas had a relapse after coming out of Intensive Care causing him to be readmitted after my last update, he is doing so much better now.

He's been out of Special Care and out of the humidicrib for nearly 2 days, and if all is well when the pediatrician sees him this morning, he'll be coming home today.

I thank you and his parents thank you so very much for all your prayers, I know for sure they helped.

We haven't been able to hold him yet due to his fragile state, but now I'm looking forward to my first cuddle.

I have only one photo in my album so far, but be assured that I'll post some more when I get them.
