Thank you Friend.

He was discharged a few days ago and although still rather jaundiced, his pediatrician (who checked him today) is happy for him to stay home .... so that's good news.

If only he'd decide to sleep at night......

Heart

THank you for the update Koala, I pray that he continues to improve and even start sleeping. When they are too little to express any ill feelings guess it comes out in the sleep pattern.

I was a colic baby, lots of rides in the car to fall asleep. Found out years later I was extremly lactose intolerant.....the formula was torture to me. One year I decided to diet and did the Slender milkshakes and ended up crawling into the docs office. Gee I can only imagine how uncomfortable I was as a newborn....

Hugs and wishes to the brand new grandson.

Thank you DiMarie.

Little lucas continues to struggle a bit although the Pediatrician is happy for him to remain at home for now, which allays some of my fears, but he remains very jaundiced and at 2 weeks af age, he continues to lose weight.

I'm sure the Pediatrician would have re-admitted him if there were any real concerns, so I guess I have to sit back and learn to be patient.
