What this precise wording says .. David could have used the Hebrew word Roah which means Shepherd .. but, didn't. That would be God to animal. David in his wisdom .. used the term Raah, for associates with us as a friend .. from the day we are born to the day we die .. all our needs will be met.

The soft ware I use is www.e-sword.net .. go to E at the top right and to Study Notes .. then down load or see if it is already existing in your down load .. under B for Bible KJV+ and HOT+. It could take you a while to learn to use this site. Under D for dictionary you can look up by typing in a search word .. click the binoculars for look up .. Strong's Concordance at your finger tips, or go to HOT+ and copy the whole verse in Hebrew with H numbers into your topic notes and study one word at a time by passing your mouse over each word .. no tedious look up as in a book.
