Default My faith

Hey all. I am very religious although I don't always go to church like I should. I believe God has helped me immensely in dealing with my health struggles. Without him, I would have probably died. When my thoughts were darkest, I believe that he carried me and helped me push through. He led me to my current doctor who has helped me greatly. I can't thank him and her enough for what they have done and helped me change my life. I am alive thanks to God, my doctor, and my family.

Default Hello very normal

Welcome to Neuro Talk. You found a great site. Lots of caring folks here too. I am just like you in many ways. I am religious, but I don't always go to church. In fact a friend of mine on this site Don, sends me scriptures for my church right at home. I think praying and being good to each other is really where faith is. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. I pray too and what we both do is very normal. Glad to meet you, and welcome again to Neruo talk. ginnie

Hi AmInormal. Welcome to Neurotalk. I have faith, and believe in God also. I went through a crises in my life, and I suddenly started believing in God,and gave my life, and heart to Jesus Christ. This opened many doors for Him to help me. This opened my mind to know about Faith, and belief in Jesus, and what He can do for us eternally.

We need each other in life. That's why He puts us in the peoples paths that He wants us to be with.

I felt like a total failure, and that my life was going into a downward spiral, but the Lord lifted me up before I hit rock bottom. I started reading the bible, and things started happening for the good. Brokenfriend

Thank you ginnie. I go many times to read in the psalms, and Isaiah 40-66 for comfort from the Lord. I feel Him looking at me from Heaven many times.

He is so real, and proved it to me when I was a young christian through seeking Him in the bible, and prayer. The way things lined up,and certain people came into my life when I needed them was precious.

I went through a pressing into the Faith, and He showed more of His kingdom to me,and many special people who I will never forget here on earth. We went out ,and shared the faith in Jesus Christ, and when I would read the bible in these times,I would learn so much scripture, and would be so comforted, and filled with His blessings.

He's made major changes in my life before something would happen. He's opened the right doors, and closed the wrong doors before I would have had major problems. Being born again for about 30 years now,I see what he's done to help me in my life. Some things are a mystery. I've been through trials, tribulations, and temptations. The bible says that these things will happen, and they do. I see the larger side of Faith. We need to cast not away therefore our confidence which has great recompense of reward. I've been through times when I've felt alone. I've been through times when I felt crushed, abandoned, broken, and emotionally weary, but He's always brought me to the other side. He has felt many of these things on the cross. We need to hold on to our faith when going through hard times, and feel alone. He says that He will never leave us,nor forsake us.

I still go through troubled times, and I come here for help from people who will talk me through the hard times.

Ephesians is a really good area to read to understand faith. I could go on,and on. BF

Default Hi Broken Friend

I hold on to faith as tightly as I can. Encouragement from NT and the folks here also does alot to reafirm my faith in humans. I think the one thing that comes to mind most often is this..."do unto others as you would have done unto you" When I am in a pickle, and don't know what to say, or how to act, this is what saying I try to focus on. Usually, I am able to react accordingly.
I read alot of Books about Christianity, and the developement of Religion. I also stick with those folks in my life and on line here, who hold to faith too. Life would be even harder without the hope that I get from believing in God. Most of what happens down here on earth, could be alot better, if we could just be good to each other. I see that goodness right on this site, Jesus does work in wonderful ways right here. Hope you are having a good day. ginnie
