Default World Record Attempt

Hi Everybody,

One of my favorite movies is Chariots of Fire. I love the story on how the fastest man in the world turned down the opportunity for glory due to his desire to direct attention to the GOD he loved. In the fall of 2011, I discovered that I could bounce a basketball (404 bounces in one minute) faster than the world record holder for the year 2010 (399 bounces). Keep in mind the 2011 record (444 bounces) is much higher. I completely attribute this skill to GOD. I realized that I need to be responsible and use this feat as inspiration for others. At this time I am an aspiring public speaker. I advocate the power of the mind to cope with your physical and emotional pain. I receive a lot of skepticism and criticism because of what I believe. In my talks I refer to the basketball feat as a way to prove that the power to control the pain in our bodies through our minds can shift over and be used to achieve other great things. I need to help those in needs and to accomplish something I never thought possible will hopefully direct people to consider what I say is true. It is through these gifts that I am directed by GOD to do my best to help those in need. I have included a link to the basketball footage. Enjoy everybody!

Default Hello 2000mind

Nice to have you on Neruo Talk. I think I would like to learn both your skills, always admired the Harlem Globe Trotters, and all the manuvers they do. Saw them once many years ago. Pain control with the mind is another good thing to learn. Oh for a handle on that! I don't think there is anyone on NT who is in pain, that would not want to learn more control. I am going at some point for hypnosis. I heard that is something to give an effort for as well. Years ago, I tried that too, I was unable to be in that state for whatever reason. Also was in an audience, where everyone was "put under" and I didn't get it. I pray alot, and I can tell you do too. Welcome to NT, we all pray for each other here. ginnie

Hi Ginnie,

Thank you for your support! Its the first nice reply I have had in awhile. When I discovered I had broken that world record, it really boosted my self confidence. So that pays off. Unfortunately, if I was ever to break the current record, I would only get my name in the Guiness book and no money. But I find the ability to control my pain 10 times more beneficial due to the fact that a lot of my happiness is rooted in good physical health. That's interesting you tried the hypnosis thing. I think there are good benefits to be had from it. It just takes some getting used to. I definetly think prayer helps a lot. Anyway, thanks for your kind words. Talk to you later!
