I am home from hospital again and this time I hope to stay at home. As you can imagine I had a multitude of blood tests and XRays and I'm pleased to report that they couldn't find a clot in my lungs. A blood test to check for one was positive on 2 occasions, but a special CT was negative. They did however pick up some pleurisy instead.

I had high dose antibiotics in hospital for the pneumonia and I've come home on some too. Hopefully this time I will improve.

Jo*Mar, I was in a different hospital this time, the food at this one was actually delicious. Much, much better that at the first hospital, and definitely as good as any we cook at home. A pleasant surprise!

I've not been here as much as I would have liked, but you have been in my thoughts. I am glad so many folks have been much more "with it" than myself here. Sorry that things have been so uphill for you... it sure is a relief to hear that you are now back home again and on the mend.

You do sound much stronger in your last post, but I will continue to keep you in my thoughts, and send you all the good energies I can muster.

You pulled a grin out of me with your comment on the food in the second hospital... never heard a report like that about any hospital food before! I've an inkling you had a serious appetite on you by then, even with the pneumonia! Good for you!

Thank you for checking on me. It's been a slow road to recovery but pleased to say that I'm finally starting to feel a little better. I am still quite weak and still unable to do much, but am taking things slowly and I'm sure I'll be back to my old self before too much longer.
