Trig confused 9/11

We lived in Az. on that day and I was just getting up at around 6:00 a.m. I had the news on and there was the tragedy right in front of me and one of our daughters was working on the 102nd floor of the S. tower. I was going to the airport to pick up my daughter inlaw and granddaughter that morning, but after hearing the news I knew they wouldn't be coming. My hubby was gone to work and we waited and waited and prayed and prayed. Finally at 2:00 p.m. we found out we were one of the more fortunate families. She got out, but she had to walk down 102 flights of stairs and was pretty shook up. We were in code red and we had two sons in the military. How were we to feel? My feelings were so mixed. I wanted the president to send troops to stop the terrorist but I didn't want our two sons going to war. We were so thankful our daughter was alive, but I had such a hatred for those who did this terrible thing to our country. I've never been so confused as to what to pray for. So, I concentrated on praying for the people who were killed and their families. Still to this day we are all effected by what happened. We did have one son go to Iraq. He is in the Navy and patroled the gulf while he was there. Our other son got out of the Army just before they started sending troops. Our family is doing fine. We went through a lot of praying and God Blessed us. I am so very thankful. Did anyone else have a loved one at the towers? Would love to hear from you.
