And I hope and pray that there are angels watching over them.

Thumbs up

Thanks so much for this. It brought tears to my eyes. If there is one thing we all need to pray for is our military. Also for the little ones back here waiting for returning parent.

Help

My dad was a WW2 veteran, and he belonged to an ex-serviceman's association that he really valued for the camaraderie.

I remember him always telling us how, as much as he loved being part of the M.O.T.H. organization, yet, he hoped his generation would be the last to join it and that it would just fade away, because war had ceased.
I sure wish my dad's generation had been the last to be at war

My prayers are lifted for every man and woman serving in the armed forces.
And my prayers are lifted for all their families too.

Heart

Thank you - though my 'puter wouldn't allow me to view it. Nice red x though,

My father served in WWII, but lucky for me he survived. If he hadn't, I wouldn't be here.

Prior Memorial Day's were easier for me to celebrate. My heart breaks for the families who have lost their loved ones in our current war. I'll pray for them and think of their loved ones today as I do every day.
