I'm sorry your DH is having these problems... Here's my thought..
If he has to wait 3 months to recheck this, you will be in the hospital yourself, as the stress of all this will take it's toll on you.

I think you should call the Dr. and have a discussion w/him about the results. He should have the pathology back and have a clearer picture.

My Dad went to the VA for his many cancers, and the Iowa City, IA hospital was staffed by the University of IA Dr'.s , so his care was excellent. But, your DH has a right, regardless of where he goes, to have straight forward answers.

Find out why the Dr thinks it's ok to wait 3 months. Remember, the squeeky wheel gets the oil. I am keeping your DH and you in my prayers..... take care..

I was driving home today and a song I love came on the radio and suddenly I thought of you and your love for music and nature and God, and your caring heart for people, especially those being done injustice, and your posts of your love for your husband ........

I called yesterday morning, and they switched me over to the GI nurse's voicemail. I left an impassioned message - not angry or demanding (or too long), just worried. Hopefully, my husband won't be viewed as just another scrap of paper on her desk.

Still waiting for the phone to ring....

sure hope she will have called you back by now Kathy....so sad how some doc's offices sometimes dont seem to realize?? how much of an extra burden they place on people by keeping them anxiously waiting like this.

Still nothing? Ugh!

She called about an hour ago. She said if the doc thought it was that serious, he would have ordered it sooner. She told me not to worry. Easier said than done.

I think this will be the first time I've ever wanted summer to hurry up and pass me by.

I just hope and pray that much healing is taking place in your husband Kathy and that by the time he does go for the tests, the docs will be amazed to find nothing but good health

Kathy....sorry it took me so long to send you a and let you know that you and your hubby will be in my prayers tonight. I know I cannot imagine life without my hubby. We do everything together and enjoy doing it. We even do nothing together and enjoy it too! I love him deeply and I know he loves me. I am so sorry that you are having to go thru this...God Bless
