Thank you Gerry. I'm doing a little better today. Thank you for the prayers, and encouragement. My faith in God has gotten me through the last 30 years. I keep going back to the bible, and read the Psalm, and verses in Isaiah 40-66. There is so much comfort in the book of Isaiah also. Many times, I've read passages in the book of Isaiah from chapters 40-66, and have what I needed to hear, and made it through the night. BF

BF,

I have a feeling each time you read those passages; they give you a bit of a different insight into the meaning. You "hear" what you need at those moments. They are gifts from God.

Some years ago; after the passing of someone very dear; I was told at night, before going to bed, I should extend out my hands in prayer and give it all to God. This really helped me sleep without such a heavy heart. I knew giving all to God, He would handle it for me. This became a habit which I still continue to give everything to God each night.

Take care my friend.

Gerry

Heart May You Feel Loved and Supported, Always!

Dear BF,

I have been away, so am late in responding.

I hope you are feeling better with each passing day.

When I lost my brother several years ago now, it took a few years for me to adjust. He and I were very close. We had talked every day for most of our lives, even when we each had lived in different states for several years. I was glad we were in the same area and could spend time together during the several years prior to his passing. I get such a lift from seeing his adult children now. I see them at least once a month is not more. It makes a world of difference to me to make sure I see them and we share our lives in the Present Moment.

I hope you can enjoy the same uplifting from having fun with your nieces?

You are a warm-hearted soul. I am glad you feel you can reach out.
We are all here for one another.

May you feel loved and supported, always.

Warmly,
DejaVu

Heart Keeping you in my thoughts BF

Dear BF,
Thinking of you and holding you in my prayers and thoughts.
(Sorry, I am also late to the party on my response)
I am glad that you come here to share and hope things
are a bit better now.

I am always so touched to often see the same core of caring and loving
people, many of them women, responding to posts like yours.
I am hoping you come to think of us as your online "sisters" and
know that we all care, very much.

I'd like to share this..
When these two lift their voices in song to perform
"the prayer" ...it always soothes me when I have emotional pain.
I Hope it does the same for you. The lyrics are lovely.

With a warm, long, hug....
Diandra
