It sounds like that is very good news.
What a good thing that you have this care taking doctor. ((((((((Judy)))))))) ((((((((Sally)))))))))) |
I know it's too late for me to say a prayer now, but I do pray that everything continues to go well. I wish I had noticed this post earlier. Good luck to you and Sally, and all my best wishes...

Hi Judy. I was surprised when I stumbled across this thread and read about your daughter's ear problem. That's the exact same thing that happened to my son-in-law when he was a boy. And those tiny bones in the ear were destroyed.
I'm afraid in his case he had a lot of pain by the time they figured out what was wrong with him. When they did surgery on him, they 'sculpted' new bones for his inner ear by taking pieces of bone from behind his ear. He did have a lot of hearing loss in that ear. He can hear a little, but not 100%. I'm glad your doctors figured out the problem and will be taking care of it. Even if it doesn't restore 100% of her hearing, it should help! It did my son-in-law! Best of luck. My thoughts are with you. |
