Confused keeping the faith

I don't know where to begin, I guess I'm just upset and wanting to type my frustrations, my down feelings, my depression back sliding. I'm active in my church, including two Bible studies during the week as well as choir. When all this is put on hold for the summer months, it's hard for me to feel even interested in attending services, however when I go...I get so much out of it and feel so much happier when I come home.

I think a lot of the feelings of depression right now are money related. Hubby's working and loves his work, just not quite making enough to cover all the monthly bills, so we're having to dip into the savings little bit every so often. I don't work because of my Trigeminal Neuralgia.

I love my church family, but often feel that a simple phone call to them would appear as if I was wanting to dump all my problems on them..when many are much worse off than I.

Once Sept. arrives, everything will be back into the weekly routines..but for right now, it's hard to keep my chin up.

hey sweety...we are here for you.

money troubles..i'm right there. we just lost our home. very close to being on the street.

i had to just give it all to the lord to take care of. he did.

i know what it is like to feel like you are dumping troubles. but that is what church community is about. an extened family.

we are just like that here too! so post away and we will send those prayers. who knows..so many here have online businesses...might be an idea.

thanks for your kind words. You're right..chat friends ARE like my extended family, just like the church family. I went out and walked around the block after posting earlier. It helped to just see flowers, hear birds...all part of God's beauty around us.

Hi Corkybird! I will pray for you that God will hold you snug in his love and get you thru this month. I know that summer scheduals are so different and even though I love the summer I cannot wait for September when the kids go back to school, summer activites cease and things feel manageable again! We here are all here for you. Post away baby! You may not be able to see us but we are a close knit "cyber family", and we are happy to have you here! Dorrie

that is the beauty of God's family.......we can all find each other and Him anywhere...not just in church

I pray that the Lord will give you a deep sense of peace and that He will guide you to find ways to supplement your income.

we are here for you Corky, and this room has lotsa space for dumpin'..........so drop all of those burdens right here and let us help lighten the load

Thumbs up

that pretty green one under me is the REAL corky bird. Don't tell him that I took his name and use it in here, doubt he'll mind though as he has a difficult time typing with that beak of his!!! He's a Ringneck Parrot, a smaller species, about the size of a cockatiel. They can live up to 25 yrs, ours is 13.
