Default I wanna be....

I wanna be the giraffe....I'm always sticking my neck out!

I too will pray for our BT community. No need for anger and rehash old doo-doo...cuz when you keep picking at a scab to see if its healed...you only just re-injure the wound all over again.

I got a sense from reading so many angry post...that we were OWED a complete explanation.
Yes....BT is a very important web site....it saved my life....I have not a shred of doubt I was close to dying.
We need to stick to the busniness of helping others find a solution to their problems, offer support and genuine concern for others who are suffering.

If we spend precious energy in negativeness....we are doing so in a wrong "spirit" and aren't helping anyone!

We may never know the real reason for what happened in the crash...no matter how flat...there's 2 sides of a pancake! And sometimes only one side gets buttered!

What if there is one person who is desperatly seeking help, but has to wade through piles of negative threads/bashing/mud slinging?
Would they find the support and help they need? Or would "we" be too busy seeking revenge and demanding apologies to apease our injured feelings?!

....I logged on to BT two years ago late August....I certainly would have passed up vital information had I read all the "Stuff" posted recently.
Who wants to join in on a group of angry postings you haven't a clue as to what had taken place???!!!!
I would have skimmed over a bit then pushed the back button and would have missed out on important information. I would have died then.
I'll never be convinced otherwise as I knew I was about to die and was desperatly seeking help.

So lets do what we are commisioned to do.
BT is a privelage and blessing to have.
IF we were paying large amounts of monthly due$, then we'd be correct in demanding answers.
I did add a few dollars when they were seeking financial help, but the $100 I put in was only a fraction of the money I felt I owed for saving my life.
It was very frustrating to find the same screen every time I tried logging on....without a single line to update any of us.

I did miss having a connection to my BT freinds this summer....I'm sure others were devastated not being able to reach out to their support groups. Being house bound due to illness must be a virtual nightmare. I only got a taste of this for a few months...that was bad enough. I couldn't imagine months, years of this. How sad it must be.

Only because of finding BT that summer 2 years ago and found numerous loving people who guided me in the right direction, I was able to find the cause of my declining health.
All the well educated specialist I'd seen didnt have a clue!

After a few weeks of taking sublingual Methyl B12 I was able to get out of bed and join the living once again. The next year before Christmas I had energy enough to decorate a tree for charity, it sold for $7,100...helped pay for medical needs for children and elderly.
I'm posting some pictures of it.
This summer I was able to travel for a month and a half going from Canada to Mexico.
It was only because BT had many caring people focused on helping me find the answers I needed.
What if their focus was eleswhere?
Lets pray for JL as well. I'm sure he was overwhelmed by it all.
We also must pray for others who have helped in getting BT back up and running again.
I for one would be more than willing to pay "dues" to ihelp insure a smooth continuence of the BT forums. Something we all should consider.
Most of us can afford at least a dollar a month!
If there are 40,000 of us, this would add up to a nice chunk of change.
Lets turn this around and rid the negative spirit by not allowing ugliness to continue.
We need to all go back to being Hippies....make Love, not war!
Blessings to all those who strive for a peaceful setting.
Blessing to those whose focus is helping and giving to those in need.
Cheryl
PS....The pictures are of the work I was able to do last Christmas for Providence Hospitals Festival of the Trees.
I made most of the ornaments, tree skirt, my darling granmonkies dress and actually machine embroidered each scotty dog on my granmonkies dress, the red suede and helped recover the chair. I made the Scotty dog pillows too! It was fun...but hard work.
It took nearly a year of planning for this, but I did it!
Opening night my freind, a Sheriffs murder detective...played the bagpipe in my tree setting stall.
It was a huge hit....made the 6'o'clock news too.
I am so proud! But this would have never come to be had there not been BT forums!

Thumbs up

((((((Cheryl)))))),

I *LOVE* the scotty dog dress -- and the chair and the pillow :BIG SIGH:

What a fun project!! You did absolutely fantastic work.

I used to love to sew when my son and step-daughter were young.

I made a faux fur coat and matching hat for my son when he was in first grade. I accidently put the lining in backwards ...

and ...

come to find out, from my husband's uncle -- who used to be a professional tailor, that people actually pay more for variegated sleeves. Who knew

Thanks for sharing. Hugs.
