There’s a puzzle I may never understand
How He took a piece of dust and turned it into man
How flesh and soul combined into what is humankind

Something else that I can barely comprehend
How the Maker of us all wants to be my friend?
Even though I’m very small in the mystery of it all

I’m in the plan
I know where I stand

I will lift my voice

I will lift my heart to the great I Am
I will shout His Name
I will sing His praise

There is nothing more
For this is

Sometimes I gaze up at the big blue sky
And I tell myself “Gee, its good to be alive!”
When I think of all He’s made it blows me away

And then I feel my heart beat in time
It beats with the love for the One who gave me life
