(((hugs)))

KD, he's beautiful- you've made such an incredible difference in his life by being there for him. I'll keep you all in my thoughts. I'd give you my shoulder to cry on if I was there in person.

Thank you everyone. I'm not partial or anything, but I think he's the cutest, brightest, most perfect little man to walk the earth. ;)

Miracles began for him (and us) before he was even born...long story...but he's absolutely a blessing.

Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers. They're so appreciated.

I talked with his father last night and they're both in the frame of mind to make some changes and accept help. I hope they continue. He said the nurse at the hospital told the little man's mother to pat herself on the back for coming this far (considering), but she needs some help now.

It's very encouraging that she checked herself in and stayed through the night!

This is so promising!

We used to actually look forward to the "medical crisis" because it always gave us "one more opportunity...one more reason for hope". My mom (vodka was her medicine) had so many hospitalizations, three of them life threatening. She's had periods of sobriety lasting from months to years over the course of her life. The last two crisis's were ten years between...last time 1 1/2 years ago... liver cancer, to boot, met with another miracle.

We've had several miracles over the last twenty years, too. The biggest miracle of all, for us, is that my mother has finally found peace in her heart, and so has our entire family.

I don't know the details of your circumstance, but I feel very connected on this one. My heartfelt prayers are with you.

prayers for you're little family, KD. You are special to do this, but I can feel the love in your words. I also pray for the mom&dad.

Little Man is beautiful! I think it is alright to call a male beautiful, don't you? You take care and give the sweetie a hug from old auntie Jo;)

Cara, I'm happy for you and your family. It sounds like a long battle, but one battle that has been won. Please take care of you , that is most important right now. Blessings to all your family, Julia

Thank you, Julia. It is still always one day at a time, but today things are good.

Blessings to your family, too. I know you are struggling through very difficult times.

I'm hoping they both find the best help they can get, to eventually bring their family back together in safety.

update - possible trigger!

I can't thank everyone enough for the thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming because they're working!!!

Thank you as well for the kind words about my little man. Yes, he is BEAUTIFUL...inside and out. He's the most sensitive loving little man. He's a miracle every day. It's a miracle he was born, in fact. His mother had had one procedure and was actually on the table for the second (which would have ended the pregnancy) when an "on her toes" doctor noticed her large uterus. She was four months pregnant. As per guidelines, they had not done one pregnancy test because she was deemed not to be able to have children. So many blessings even before his birth!

Children that age live by routine and I've tried to keep his right on schedule due to the differences in his little world. He knows he didn't see mama and daddy this past Friday. He NEVER cries for them and has cried every day since the trouble began (even before I was aware). He knows something isn't right; in fact, something is wrong.

I called his daddy and he's coming over this evening and bringing his big sister. He's going to leave his big sister here while he goes and visits mama in the hosp. YAYAYAY for little man. He LOVES his sissy. She'll stay and have dinner with us.

His mama is staying in! She's began meds and they've initially dx'ed her with PTSD and complicated post partum(sp?) depression. They feel there may be personality disorders there as well due to her HORRIBLE childhood.

She said the meds are helping her to feel calmer and slowing down the thoughts.

Thank you so much everyone.

Kimmydawn, I will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.

What a wonderful thing you have done taking in your Little Man. He is such a handsome young man.

I wish his mother all the best in her battle with PTSD, it can literally be a nightmare. Been there, wouldn't wish PTSD on my worst enemy.

Take care.
