Default Please say a prayer

For my Aunt Barbara,

She has survived breast cancer for 9 years but recently has taken a turn for the worst. She went into the hospital yesterday and today they are releasing her because there is nothing they can do.

As she said she is going to home to die.

She is my favorite aunt and more like my mom than my own mom was or is.

I am heartbroken and feel slightly alone because I am an outsider with my family.

God Bless her in her journey.

(((((((((((((Shelley))))))))))))))

I am praying for your aunt and for you. This must be so very hard for you.
I hope you are able to see her or talk with her and let her know how much you care, and how much she means to you. I pray she will have peace and not suffer. May God comfort both of you.

with much love
Cheri

Oh, ((((((((Shelley)))))))! What can I say? Of course I will say prayers of hope and send endless thoughts of good wishes for your aunt. And ditto to everything that Cheri said above. I hope you realize by now how much I regard you as a friend, and as a friend I also send you all the love and support at my disposal. I will wish for a miracle, but if that doesn't occur, then I offer you all the help and understanding I can possibly give.

Hang in there, Shelley. We're all sending you all the good feelings we have.

Oh Shelley I'm so sorry. This is so hard for all of you to go through. Your dear Aunt will be in my prayers. That will be a real life hug this fall.

Shelley dear, I don't know what to say, only to say that I'm here praying for you and for your Aunt. It is just so so difficult when someone we love is near the end of their journey and there's nothing we can do to help them. I recall when I visited my own father for his 87th birthday. At that point & time, he was already on oxygen battling prostate cancer that had turned to bone cancer throughout his entire body. I knew when I hugged him and we headed 425 miles to our own home...it would be the last I'd see him alive. I bawled most of the 6 hr drive home. The thing that we often forget at times like this is...if these family members are Christians, we know that they will be shining angels in the presence of God, and that we will someday be reunited with all of them.
Prayers for you Shelley,

Marilyn

Thank you all for your prayers.

When my aunt was in the hospital 2 weeks ago we thought this was it. And when they sent her home she said I am going home to die.

The doc said it was the cancer definitely that was out of control and she needed to be back on chemo fast or there was no other options. But she could not eat or keep anything down and was spiraling down hill.

But the prayers have been working. She is trying so hard. She staretd chemo two weeks ago and then caught bronchitis which is hard because part of the cancer is in her lungs.

Yesterday was her 2nd chemo treatment. She is a trooper. I talked to her for the first time tonight since she left the hospital. She is stronger but not out of the woods yet. Today she is walking without the walker and sounded like she had a little more spunk.

Please keep her in your prayers. And God Bless ou all for your prayers and support.
