Unhappy Me, Me, Me!

This a prayer request that is all about ME - for the sake of my husband and son.

I went in for a breast exam because I found a lump. I had a cyst before, quite a few years ago, so I figured he could just drain it and I could be on my way.

The news isn't good. He thinks it's cancer, and it's a lot bigger than I thought it was. Prior to the exam, he completely agreed with my theory that it was a cyst. After he examined it, he looked at me sternly and said "Kathy, this is cancer." He tried to drain it, but nothing came out.

I'm going to see a surgeon on Thursday. It's still possible it's a cyst (maybe he hit the wrong spot), but my doc says it's highly unlikely.

I'd be grateful if you would keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
