HI EVERYONE! WELL, GOD WAS AT WORK IN MY LIFE YESTERDAY!! HE SENT ME SOME ANGELS!! REALLY HE DID! HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED...........................
MY GRANDDAUGHTER, SAFFIRE AND I HEADED OUT YESTERDAY FOR THE HOUR DRIVE TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER SO SHE COULD VISIT FOR A FEW DAYS. IT HAD SNOWED A BIT BUT NOT MUCH AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ROADS ALL THE WAY TO OUR DESTINATION. WE PICKED UP "AUNTIE KATIE" AND HEADED BACK. IT WAS ABOUT 2 O'CLOCK AND I NEEDED TO PICK UP THE BOYS AT 4;30 FROM SPORTS CAMP....THIS LEFT ME LOTS OF TIME. THE ROADS WERE GREAT ON THE WAY HOME UNTILL ABOUT 1/2 WAY HOME. I WASN'T EVEN DOING AS MUCH AS THE SPEED LIMIT AND JUST AS I HIT THE CREST OF A HILL ON THE HIGHWAY.....OUT OF NOWHERE IT WAS LIKE SOMEONE DUMPED THE BIGGEST LOAD OF S-L-U-S-H!!!!! IT COVERED BOTH LANES OF THIS BUSY HIGHWAY......I HIT IT AND LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR. I DID NOT TOUCH THE BRAKE BUT RATHER HAD MY EYE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF THE TRAFFIC COMING TOWARDS ME AND THE TRAFFIC THAT HAD NO IDEA I WAS HAVING TROUBLES AS THEY CAME OVER THE HILL.......I HAVE ONLY HAD MY LICENCE FOR 2 YEARS AND HAVE HAD NO EXPERIENCE IN THIS SITUATION....I JUST SAID TO MY DAUGHTER..."HANG ON!!" ONCE I GOT ALL FOUR TIRES ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD I STARTED TO BRAKE A BIT.....I WAS NOT STOPPING..I WAS SLIDING.......I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GET THE CAR STOPPED......I HAD TO DRIVE INTO A HUGE SNOWBANK TO GET STOPPED. IT WAS HORRIBLE! I ASKED MY DAUGHTER IF SHE WAS OK...SHE WAS...I ASKED THE BABY IF SHE WAS OK....SHE WAS OBLIVIOUS!!!...THANK GOD SHE HAD NO CLUE THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG! WE WERE ALL OK....JUST A LITTLE SHOOK UP. I PUT THE CAR INTO REVERSE, CHECKED AROUND ME AND PUSHED THE GAS PEDAL....S-T-U-C-K!! I NEEDED TO GET HOME TO THE BOYS. i STUCK MY HAZARD LIGHTS ON AND KEPT TRYING TO GET OUT WHEN AN OLDER GENTLEMAN PULLED UP TO TRY TO HELP ME. I DID NOT REALIZE HOW MUCH SNOW WAS UNDER MY CAR AND WE STARTED TO DIG IT OUT. wE TRYED TO REVERSE AGAIN...NO LUCK....THEN 2 YOUNG FELLOWS CAME BY AND STARTED TO HELP THE OLDER FELLOW...THEY ALL DUG AS MUCH SNOW OUT AS THEY COULD....i TRIED TO REVERSE AGAIN...STILL NO LUCK!! BY NOW I WAS STARTING TO PANIC INSIDE AS I HAD TO PICK UP THE BOYS....THE 3 MEN TRIEDTO PUSH US OUT....3 BIG STRONG MEN AND MY FOOT ON THE GAS, IN REVERSE AND THE CAR WOULD N-O-T BUDGE!!! yOU CAN IMAGINE HOW HARD I WAS PRAYING AS ALL OF THIS WAS OCCURING!!! WELL............PRAYING SURE DOES HELP.....GOD SURE DOES LISTEN!!!...........JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WOULD CRY.......A TOW TRUCK HAPPENED BY......A VERY PLEASANT MAN ASKED ME IF I WANTED HIM TO PULL ME OUT....I SAID YES AND EXPLAINED THAT I ONLY HAD 15 DOLLARS IN MY POCKET......HE SAID NO, THAT IS OK....I WAS JUST DRIVING MY OWN TWO CHILDREN HOME AND SAW THAT YOU NEEDED HELP...YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY ME I DON'T MIND AT ALL! ( AROUND HERE WE HAVE TOW TRUCKS WAITING FOR ACCIDENTS LIKE MINE FOR THEM TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AND HERE IS THIS FELLOW WILLING TO DO IT FOR FREE!!) WELL HE HOOKED ME UP AND HAULED ME OUT.........THAT FELT SO GOOD! ONCE I WAS OUT HE SHOWED ME THAT MY CAR WAS SO FAR INTO THE BANK, WHICH WAS HARD AS ROCK, THAT ALL OF MY WHEELS WERE NOT ON THE GROUND. THAT EXPLANED WHY NO AMOUNT OF HUMAN PUSHING WOULD HAVE HELPED................SO JUST BEFORE HE AND HIS 2 KIDS HEADED OUT I ASKED HIM AGAIN IF HE WOULD TAKE THE MONEY I HAD AND EXPRESSED MY GRATITUDE TOWARDS HIM....HE AGAIN SO NICELY SAID NO THANK YOU. i ASKED HIM WHAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY WAS WHO HE WORKED FOR AND HE SAID WITH A BIG SMILE.......................................THREE ANGELS TOWING!!! SO GOD REALLY DID SEND ME ANGELS!!! IS THAT NOT AMAZING!!! "THANK YOU GOD"

Dorrie,
That is such a wonderful true story to share with us. Yes when we at least expect anything unsetting occur it happens. The God is there to assist us with help and guildness. It was so nice to have those nice men come along, which we know who sent them. Happy to hear everyone is ok. Darlene

God does work in mysterious ways...
He sent 3 angels that tried to get you out... then... when that wasn't working... He sent Three Angels Towing who was able to get out out. Isn't HE amazing?!?!?!!!!! I feel so blessed today to have read your story... Thank you!!! Abbie

This made me all goose bumpy, Dorrie. I am so glad you are all OK..
What an amazing story. Maybe there's hope for this world yet! I love hearing that there are some really wonderful people and ANGELS out there...
