Hi BMW and thank you for bringing this thread back up. Yes, I still feel that many things I see, are indeed, God's work. His beauty is all around us. I wonder if my coming here to NT a long time ago, wasn't a lil nudge that I needed. Who's to second guess, right?

Sometimes we see only the suffering and hatred in this world, but there is so much love and beauty; it's always good to take the time to see HIS handiwork.

Hey BMW~ What a great post! I hope we can keep this thread going, as it puts a few priorities where they should be. I'm sitting here w/the patio door open, sun's shining and the air is so crisp and clean smelling. That truly is the Lord's work.

Maybe he's prepping me for the dreaded Winter season, but that's ok; I am going to take each beautiful day he gives me and find something good in it.

I saw Him today when he drenched us with sunshine that highlighted the chubby, uncertain legs of a tot who was practicing his walk on my sidewalk until he decided to plop on my lawn and harvest some grass. It was a tiny little miracle of discovery and I got to witness it.

"I saw God today" - How wonderful, what a beautiful idea! I found peace and inspiration reading all the posts. There were some problems I was struggling with although there was not a ready solution.Before falling asleep yesterday, I realized that I did not have the power but He did. I fell asleep realizing that there are times when things are best left to God and that we are not 'required' to worry. Does that count?

I saw God today in the clear bright blue sky as I drove to meet with my pastor.

It was a long drive but that didn't matter.

I was able to notice God in the little things...

The corn stalks tall and turning brown as it nears harvest time.

Birds of all sizes some circling around looking for a meal, others flying together going up and down as they caught the currents of the wind. It looked as though they were a group of children playing follow the leader.

I noticed a little brown squirrel as it ran down a tree and across a yard...it was carrying what appeared to be a large black walnut that was bigger than the squirrels head.

As I pulled in to my pastor's driveway I was greeted by dozens of butterflies in all sizes and colors. It seemed to me as if they had been sitting there waiting for me to arrive. They were all sitting on the driveway and when I turned in they all fluttered up and about my car.

On my trip back home I passed and old friend who was driving in the opposite direction. It was so nice to see her even though we no longer communicate...It know now that she's at least doing a little bit ok...She was talking on her phone but I was able to see her smile.

Thank you God for giving me this beautiful day of discovery.

Oh the feelings are good,but sometimes you won't feel them. It doesn't mean that he isn't there,because of His precious Word. He will always be there. His faithfulness will not fail.

He loves you with a everlasting Love. This is endless love that is deeper then we can know,wider then we can understand,Higher then we can see,and longer then the expanse of the Universe.

I look up into the stars,and the beautiful creations on Earth,and see the works of Gods hands. Brokenfriend
