Cool Smirk Bach/ Vaugh Williams

This one may come as a surprise to some judging by my taste in music, but this is 'Dona Nobis Pacem' - 'Grant Thou to Us Thy Peace'

Dona Nobis Pacem (Round - Rise Up Singing): https://youtu.be/69VG0YuZTHU

I chose this version over huge Choral arrangements because the four youngsters are about the same age as I was when I used to sing this very song. We also used to sing the Welsh version 'Dyro Inni Heddwch', which I cannot find performed. If anyone more adept on the YouTubes than me can dig it up I would love to hear it.

Dave.

Correction. As I cannot trust my memory I went to a respected University site for the composer. Turns out they are WRONG - it was Mozart. I'm sure the two men in question will not mind being confused - they were both great and can complain to me in person if there are any problems

Heart "You Say" by Lauren Daigle

Lauren Daigle's "Look Up Child" Album is one of my all time favorites.

Here is the song "You Say" from the album.
I hope the lyrics will be of great encouragement, so am also quoting them here:
Lauren Daigle - You Say (Official Music Video) - YouTube

Quote:
I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know, ooh oh
You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
And when I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh, I believe
What You say of me
I believe

The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, ooh oh
You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh, I believe
What You say of me
Oh, I believe

Taking all I have and now I'm laying it at Your feet
You'll have every failure God, You'll have every victory, ooh oh
You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don't belong, oh, You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh, I believe
What You say of me
I believe
Oh, I believe, yes, I believe
What You say of me
I believe

"You Say" Songwriters: Jason Ingram / Lauren Daigle / Paul Brendon Mabury

What an amazing song. I'd never heard of this artist. Thanks for sharing.
I can't help feel it was inspired by this

Heart You Already Know by JJ Heller

Such a beautiful song by one of my favorite artists JJ Heller
It is a calming and comforting song during this time of uncertainty.
May it bless you
