This one does it for me. It's not just the song. The art and dance are just as powerful. I cry tears everytime I watch it.

I am always deeply moved by Lynda Randle's version of the song "God on the Mountain". I love her voice to start with, and I am comforted and inspired by lyrics such as "The God on the mountain is still God in the valley", and "The God of the good times is still God in the bad times; the God of the day is still God in the night."

Sometimes I sing that last line under my breath when the nights are long and dark, and I start to imagine terrible things...He is still God, even in the night.

Loving this thread, even though our church seems to be more of the older, traditional hymns....I like the words of many of the new ones. Thanks to all for sharing,
