Burntmarshmallow is doing fine no fires close enough to actuly see but smoke is all around. and where my hub work L.P.G.A. in Daytona is another story with highways closed long time to get to and fro work.
Thanks for all the prayers they are keeping most of us safe from the flames.
Chemar we could probly send smoke signals to eachother ...Okay thats not really nothing to joke about cus the smoke outside is not so fun to smell all day and night. burns throat. but BMW is safe . and all you other florida folks stay safe too, keeping all in my prayers for safety and the fires to be contained. I was wondering how close you and Chemar were to the fires... I'm praying that they find the arsonist soon and also for some rain to help the drought end...Stay safe!!! {{{HUGS}}

new fires have broken out as the winds are strong again and homes damaged/destroyed are now 100+:(

power has been cut to thousands and it is hot hot hot and smoky so must be awful for those with no air conditioning

It seems Palm Bay is having the worst of it now

It seems they have caught a suspect and are questioning him as I type for the arson fires in Palm Bay Florida. Keep the prayers and good thoughts floating around ...we still have the 108 fires we are dealing with . good highway is open ..for now, and they caught a suspect :cool:.

I'm just so glad you guys are okay.

Praise God that you are all safe. I can't imagine having the odor of the smoke 24/7. Difficult for ones with breathing problems isn't it? :grouphug:

Please once again say some prayers for us here in Florida as new 1000 acher fire has broken out affecting 100 or so homes and those living in lake county .
It is tooo dry and too hot and too windy ... keep us in your prayers this weekend please .

this heat and drought here is very serious

our stream out back is dried up and usually is a flowing one with lots of water birds:( We have had a very warm winter here too....really weird weather.

just when the fires to the east of where I am have been contained....woosh here they are to the west now. Lake County is very heavily wooded so I do hope they can contain this one as it seems to be spreading fast....winds have been high again today and hot hot hot

praying for my neighbors in Lake County

Continued prayers for all in the path of these horrible fires. I actually got my atlas out and looked to see where Lake County was in relation to New Smyrna as we have family there. I can't imagine the trauma these dear souls are going through.
