Great news! Cathy just called and everything went very well. They got a late start (shocking, I know) but Judy's in recovery and a little groggy yet.

I hope I get all this right:

They feel that they got all of the cancer out and took some additional, surrounding cells that actually looked very good, but which were sent to pathology just in case. The surgeon feels that it will most likely come back clean!!!!!!!

They even said that she will be allowed to go home if she's up to it, tonight!
