if I may borrow your thread and say that we've received some GOOD news ourselves today....

so ditto to the title of your thread!!

Prayers needed along the same, yet slightly different area of this thread I started. Son Keith is seeing the oncologist tomorrow for follow-up on the CT scan from a few wks ago...just to discuss the results.
We also need to pray for Keith's girlfriend Amanda. She is currently battling a bad case of bronchitis. The dr. put her on an asthma inhaler 4x a day and wants to run some pulmonary tests in 2 weeks after she finishes her antibiotic. She has had bronchitis 5 times in the past 12 months is why dr is now thinking asthma. Also, and the main thing that I'm asking prayers for is that Amanda has found a lump on her breast last week. The dr doesn't want to do any mammogram until after attacking this bronchitis and breathing difficulty problem. After Keith just being diagnosed in January, you KNOW the thoughts that circle our brains when hearing such news of his girlfriend only 9 months later.
Keith said this morning that he's feeling a bit "run down" so pray that he doesn't catch this bugger from her. More of an update after he sees oncologist tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, Marilyn!! That is fantastic news. I often wonder about Keith and hearing the good news about his scan, is just wonderful. I know how scary it is to watch our children go through stuff like this.

Hello there dear friends!!!! Wow, talk about someone that hasn't posted here in AGES!!!! Holidays were difficult as there was a lot of illnesses (nothing major), plus I was just suffering from a case of severe VOLUNTEER ITIS!!! lol
Anyways, thought I'd update on this thread about my son, Keith.

Sunday, Jan. 25th was one yr since he had been diagnosed with the testicular cancer. He's doing great, has begain eating healthier and exercising regularly and has lost almost 30 lbs. All tests have been well within normal range.
