with Hurricane Dolly now a cat 2 storm making landfall in western Texas, our prayers are lifted for all members who are there, for safety and protection.
These storms have widespread effects too and even those just in the outer bands need our prayers too

Absolutely, Chemar. I was watching the weather this morning and it looked ominous. My prayers are with all of those in Texas who are directly or indirectly affected by this storm.

i am far north, but we have many friends in that area.
 spent many a summers on padre island.

well You bet I am saying prayers !! both me and chemar know all about the WIDE spread affects of hurricnaes and storms of such size. I cant watch the t.v. lately but I know and my prayes were started for Texas before land fall ... and will be kept in my prayers long after it is gone.
