One week after the injection, Richard seems to have a big relief of his back pain. It isn't totally gone, but quite an improvement.
He sees dr. again next wk, they'll either do an additional injection or maybe some therapy but it appears that for NOW anyways that surgery isn't needed.

That's really good to hear, Marilyn. Thank you for the update on Richard. Sure hope he continues to improve. Will keep him in my prayers along w/you, too.

We traveled over the wknd to visit my sister & Richard. He seems to be having less pain, still some tingling down the leg...but is able to get around without TOO much pain. He begins physical therapy tomorrow. Perhaps the injection AND all these prayers are finally beginning to work on the pain!!!!

With the radiation treatments & skin cancer on his face...he goes every day for the treatments, has had one wk and 5 more to go. His sugar (with him being a severe diabetic) seems to be fluctuating quite a bit, but they're keeping close watch. So far he's only lost half a lb, it seems to be taking some of his appetite away.

I can't thank you enough for all the care, concern, and prayers that you've given me and my family this year. Y'all made it so much easier when Keith our son was undergoing chemo...now it's a bro-in-law that is very dear to us all.

Hey Marilyn~ Thanks for the update on Richard. I will keep him in my prayers and your sis too. Hope Keith is doing OK, I know he had a tough time of it.
