I'm sorry you have to go through that Kristin :hug:. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and I hope everything goes OK. I have never had an EEG but has the others have said, I am sure you will do just fine and we will all be with you in spirit and there to give you a hug and hold your hand whenever you need us to.
Please keep us all updated when you can.

((coolangel)) I will of course add you to my prayers. If it is of any help I have had the ambulatory EEG, I had mine on for 2 days. Something tells me it isn't the test that you are nervous about, but the results...the fear of going off treatment, if the results are good. Very understandable:hug: I don't know your history so I can't offer much advice. I can offer my support though, and you have it :hug::hug:

Some issues have popped up in reference to my epilepsy medication side effects,and we start testing a week from Friday.Mainly fatigue issues that returned,and it has more than one relative unnerved.

We test from the 14th until the 18th..The doctor suggested going off of treatment,if the tests come back okay..I am so scared,putting my parents through this is not what I wanted to do.(I'm an adult-yet,if something affects me-it affects them too.)

:hug::grouphug::hug:for you all,Kristin

In talking with my dad yesterday,it really helped me to see that things will work out,one way or the other.Please say your prayers for us in the coming weeks,as apparently,like it or not..my parents,while accepting my decision on the testing,are going through this,too.Also,for the specialist who is wonderful-that he guide us in the right direction

If I disappear for awhile-just keep me in your thoughts and prayers..I will probably not be on the computer after Thursday for awhile.

:hug::grouphug::hug::grouphug:to you all!! Kristin
